Balsamic vinegar tastes similar to balsamic vinegar, but is much sweeter and has a thicker, syrupy consistency. It is made from grape must and 20 % balsamic vinegar. A small amount of cornstarch is used for thickening.
Where to use it? You can use it almost anywhere – caramelise onions or add extra flavour to salads, roasted vegetables and snacks.
Balsamic syrup is also great for garnishing dishes.
