When you open a jar of Linden honey, you will smell the pleasant aroma of lime blossom and taste the refreshing mint, citrus and floral notes.

Honey has a bright yellow colour while it is liquid and a greenish tinge against the sun. As it crystallises, linden honey turns a soft yellowish colour, almost white. It crystallises into very fine crystals.

What is organic honey?
We are often asked how we ensure that bees do not fly to non-organic areas. We make sure that there are no sources of pollution within a 3-5 km radius around the apiary – the distance where the bees fly.
The honey is tested in a German laboratory, which confirms that it is free of pesticides and glyphosates.
We treat the bees with natural acids, beekeeping is carried out only in wooden hives, all production is packed in glass containers and the honey is sweated with a stainless steel honey extractor.
The apiary is inspected and an organic production certificate is issued by ECOAGROS.

How to store linden honey to maintain its quality for longer?
Honey should be stored in a cool, dry place. Avoid temperature fluctuations and direct sunlight. Honey stored in the right conditions will keep its quality and flavour for a long time. Honey absorbs odours and moisture easily and should therefore be stored in a tightly sealed container.

Taste: sweet, floral, with mint and citrus notes, refreshing.
Aroma: floral.
Colour: light yellowish to almost white with a greenish tinge.
