Cardamom is a valuable and popular spice that flavours both food and drinks. Traditionally, coffee in many countries is flavoured with cardamom and added to sweets, biscuits and gingerbread (especially in winter). Cardamom is added to marinades, wine, spicy stews and seitan steaks.
