I. Definitions

1.1. Data Controller – UAB Žaliuomenė (hereinafter – the Data Controller), company code 305766803, address Klaipėdos g. 3, Vilnius, email – [email protected], online store address: www.biopapa.lv.
1.2. Buyer – a legally capable natural or legal person who has purchased goods in the online store www.biopapa.lv.
1.3. Personal Data Processing Rules (hereinafter – the Rules) regulate the basic principles of collection, processing, and storage of personal data applied by the Data Controller when processing the Buyer’s personal data.

II. General Provisions

2.1. This Privacy Policy establishes the basic principles and procedures for the collection, processing, and storage of personal data between the Data Controller and the Buyer.
2.2. The collection, processing, and storage of the Buyer’s personal data are determined by this Privacy Policy, the Law on Legal Protection of Personal Data of the Republic of Lithuania, and other legal acts.
2.3. By providing your personal data in the online store, you agree that the Data Controller will process them for the purposes, by the means, and in accordance with the procedures set out in this Privacy Policy and applicable laws.
2.4. When placing an order, the Buyer undertakes to provide complete and accurate information about themselves. If the Buyer provides inaccurate or false data, the Data Controller has the right to cancel the Buyer’s registration and/or restrict access to the online store. If the Buyer’s data changes, it must be updated immediately.
2.5. The Data Controller undertakes to sell goods only to individuals who are at least 16 years old. If the Buyer is under 16, purchases may only be made with parental or guardian consent.

III. Collection, Processing, and Storage of Personal Data

3.1. The Data Controller follows these fundamental principles of personal data processing:
3.1.1. Personal data is collected for specific and legitimate purposes.
3.1.2. Personal data is processed accurately and fairly.
3.1.3. Personal data is kept up to date.
3.1.4. Personal data is stored no longer than required for the purposes of processing.
3.1.5. Personal data is processed only by employees authorized to do so.
3.1.6. All information about processed personal data is confidential.

3.2. The Buyer agrees that their personal data provided will be processed in accordance with these Rules.
3.2.1. The Buyer has the right to access their personal data, know what data is being processed, to whom it has been disclosed within the past year, request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data, request deletion or restriction of processing. These rights can be exercised by contacting [email protected]. The Data Controller undertakes to respond within 1–5 working days. If necessary, identity verification may be requested.

3.3. The Data Controller respects each Buyer’s right to privacy. Personal data (name, surname, address, phone number, email, and other information provided during ordering) is collected and processed for order fulfillment and contractual obligations.

The Buyer may consent or refuse the use of their personal data for direct marketing by selecting the appropriate option.
When sending newsletters, the Data Controller provides the possibility to unsubscribe at any time (via the “unsubscribe” link).

IV. Transfer of Personal Data to Third Parties

4.1. The Data Controller does not disclose the Buyer’s personal data to third parties, except to partners providing delivery or other services related to order fulfillment, or when required by law.

V. Registration Rules

5.1. During registration, the Buyer must provide accurate and complete data. If inaccurate or misleading data is provided, the Data Controller has the right to cancel registration or restrict access to the online store.
5.2. The Buyer has the right to update their registration data at any time.

VI. Amendments to the Rules

6.1. The Data Controller has the right to amend the Rules by publishing them on www.biopapa.lv.
6.2. Changes come into force on the day of publication.
6.3. If the Buyer does not agree with the changes, they have the right to refuse them in writing.
6.4. Continued use of services is considered acceptance of the updated Rules.

VII. Provision of Information

7.1. All notifications related to personal data are submitted via email at [email protected].
7.2. Responses are provided in the same form in which the request was received.
