Eucalyptus essential oil is extracted from the bark and leaves of the Eucalyptus Globulus tree using steam distillation.
Used in aromatherapy, Eucalyptus essential oil stimulates the mind and energises the body. It is also known to help relieve breathing during colds and flu and to kill harmful bacteria.
Eucalyptus essential oil used in cosmetics has properties that stimulate skin regeneration processes. It is also good for acne-prone skin, cleansing and disinfecting it.
It can also soothe insect bites and stings and help wounds and cuts heal faster. When used in hair care, this oil moisturises and cleanses dry or itchy scalps.

Eucalyptus oil is effective as a kitchen cleaner because of its antibacterial and antimicrobial properties.
