Organic Milk Thistle is a flowering plant native to the Mediterranean region, recognisable by its spiky leaves and purple flowers. Its seeds have been used in traditional medicine for more than 2 000 years, especially for liver and gallbladder health. Ancient Greeks and Romans valued it for detoxification and digestive support.
The seeds are small, brown and slightly shiny, often collected for their unique flavour and oil. Traditionally they were crushed or ground and added to food or brewed as a tea.
Today, the seeds are sometimes used in cooking and snacking.

Use: can be ground and added to salads, breakfast cereals, smoothies, smoothies or as herbal tea.

To make the tea, add 1 teaspoon of ground marjoram (about 6 g) to a glass of water, pour over a glass of boiling water, cover and leave to steep for 15 minutes. Drink 1 cup of the infusion.
A daily dose of 3 teaspoons - 12-18 g of marjoram.
