Organic Japanese Sencha Green Tea, 75 g
There is no other drink in Japan that is drunk as often as sencha. Sencha is made from young, first harvest green tea leaves. The taste is fresh and light and the aftertaste is umami.
This tea is grown and immediately processed in Japan using traditional methods to preserve the best flavour. The perfect choice for a cosy break.
Preparation
Use 1 teaspoon of sencha in 250 ml of water. Prepare the sencha in the traditional Japanese way: heat a cup of tea in hot water. Place the sencha in a tea strainer in a teapot and pour over water heated to about 85-90 °C. Steep for 1-2 minutes. If you are pouring a second time, let the tea steep for another 30 seconds.
